As Hope Channel Launches in PNG, Kiribati Still Awaiting Completion

While Papua New Guinea celebrates the official launch of Hope Channel PNG on national Digital Channel 7, here in Kiribati, Hope Channel is still on hold—pending vital funding from the Kiribati Mission, the Trans Pacific Union Mission, and the South Pacific Division.

The PNG launch included a special prayer of dedication, with Brad Kemp from Adventist Media joining remotely to highlight the power of media in spreading the gospel.

Plans are now underway in PNG to develop more locally produced content that reflects their culture and stories of faith.

Meanwhile, in Kiribati, the vision for a local Hope Channel remains strong. Once completed, it is expected to amplify the mission of the church—sharing Bible truth, health education, and community stories with the nation and beyond.

Church members are hopeful that with unified support, Kiribati’s own Hope Channel will soon move from dream to reality.
