Pacific Adventist University has announced the launch of a new Doctor of Philosophy program in education and business, marking a major expansion of its postgraduate offerings.
The announcement was made during the university’s combined convocation and graduation ceremony held on February 24 at the Koiari Park campus near Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea.
Designed to strengthen research and leadership in the Pacific region, the new program will allow students to explore advanced topics relevant to education and business innovation in PNG and beyond.
PAU Vice Chancellor Professor Lohi Matainaho encouraged students to embrace the opportunity and strive for excellence, assuring them of full support from faculty and staff.
The ceremony also celebrated the success of 16 graduates—13 undergraduate and 3 postgraduate students—including two PAU staff members.
The university says the new PhD program reflects its commitment to academic excellence and regional development.
