Over 150 Pacific leaders, thinkers, and advocates have gathered in Suva, Fiji this week for the opening of the first-ever Pasifika Futures Forum, held at the Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat.
The two-day forum—backed by the Pacific Islands Forum and UNDP Pacific, with support from the Australian Government—is a bold step toward shaping a sustainable and inclusive future for the Blue Pacific Continent.

Inspired by the newly launched Pasifika Futures Report, the forum explores urgent issues like climate security, ocean governance, technology, and intergenerational leadership.
Drawing from Pacific wisdom and foresight tools, participants engage in deep talanoa on identity, resilience, and regional unity.
