Within the South Pacific Division of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, the Trans Pacific Union Mission (TPUM) has designated June 2026 for a major, region-wide evangelistic initiative titled "TPUM for Christ".
This will be the largest evangelistic campaign ever held across the TPUM territory, covering nations such as the Solomon Islands, Fiji, Vanuatu, Samoa, American Samoa, Tonga, and Kiribati.
The campaign is expected to bring together hundreds of evangelists from across the Pacific and around the world, with coordinated preaching efforts and outreach activities planned across all participating countries.
In Kiribati, the Seventh-day Adventist Mission is actively preparing for the event. Pastor Taabua Rokeatau, President of the Kiribati Mission, confirmed that a number of international evangelists will be assigned to support local efforts during the campaign.
To build momentum, the Mission and local churches on South Tarawa recently concluded a revival week, held simultaneously in all congregations.
This spiritual preparation is part of a broader outreach initiative, during which church members will visit homes in South Tarawa to conduct health screenings, focusing on diabetes and hypertension—two of the most pressing public health challenges in Kiribati.
The "TPUM for Christ" campaign aims to foster spiritual renewal, promote holistic health, and strengthen community connections across the Pacific.
