In Chongqing, the group witnessed urban development projects, smart transit systems, and revolutionary history—topped off with a dazzling drone show. In Shanxi, they toured factories, ancient temples, and even visited Hukou Waterfall on the Yellow River.

The seminar concluded in Beijing, where delegates engaged in global media dialogue, explored academic institutions like Tsinghua University, and toured the Palace Museum and Liangma River district.

Mr. Angiraoi described the experience as a powerful opportunity to share Pacific perspectives and build lasting global partnerships in media.

Thursday, May 8, Kiribati Hope will begin airing episodes of a complete 10-day Seminar trip for Media Leaders in China on Hope Radio, Facebook Live Page "Adventist Hope" and on YouTube at Kiribati Hope Channel @hopeyoutube7382.

NAWEREWERE, TARAWA - April 18, 2025

The Ministry of Fisheries has donated the first catch by its fishing vessel, Maribo 61 to patients at the Nawerewere Hospital.

A report from the Ministry has said that the packaged tuna flake donation was officially handed over today by the Minister of Fisheries and Ocean Resources, Honourable Ribanataake Tiwau to Health Minister, Honourable Michael Booti Nauan.

The event was witnessed by secretaries from the two ministries including Mr. Li, a representative from the Chinese fishing firms.

Minister Nauan expressed his heartfelt appreciation for the generous contribution, emphasizing the positive impact it will have on patient care.
